The Quantitative Estimation Methodology of Modern Russian Society's Psychological State

The author describes and substantiates the quantitative estimation methodology of modern Russian society's psychological state. For the purposes of the quantitative estimation of this state the author used a composite index elaborated by him and based on the integration of 6 primary indicators. Using the Index, there is a possibility to estimate quantitatively the dynamics of Russian society's psychological state from 1991 to 2016. The author analyses this dynamics in relation to social-economic and political events. In addition, the dynamics of primary indicators involved in the Composite Index is examined as well. There are the results of other investigations – sociological and psychological ones, characterizing the modern Russian society's psychological state and its dynamics. The author comes to the conclusion about the existence of socio-psycho-somatic influence implied in the fact that social processes are reflected in citizens' psychological state which has important somatic consequences.

Keywords: macropsychology; modern Russian society; psychological state; quantitative estimation; Composite Index; dynamics; socio-psycho-somatic influence
