Current Problems of Modern Neuropsychology
in the Light of L. M. Vekker General Theory of Psyche

The article briefly discusses the current problems of neuropsychological theories and research of attention, its development and disorders in ontogenesis. The authors estimate the value of L. M. Vekker's information theory of psyche for the solving these problems. It is substantiated the efficiency of the child neuropsychology appeal to the fundamental laws of the information organization of psyche, to the concepts of main and across mental processes, their hierarchy and relationships with multi-level brain carrier. These provisions are demonstrated by the explaining the specific experimental facts in neuropsychology of attention, by the examples of eliminating the contradictions between its competing hypotheses.

Keywords: neuropsychology of attention; patterns of information mental processes; neuroplasticity; attention deficit disorder; impairment of mathematical abilities; Williams syndrome
