The interview with Professor A. G. Asmolov took place within the framework of the ongoing project – the meetings with authoritative Russian scientists devoted to the discussion of actual problems and directions of research in psychological science. The questions are prepared and asked by Professor T. A. Nestik. A. G. Asmolov noted the change in the social status of psychology as a unique interdisciplinary area of science, which takes on the function of social construction of reality nowadays. A psychologist-constructor leads to the transformation of society through the modernization of education, he helps a person to gain self-esteem and build a model of the desired future through the construction of variational, developing, semantic education. Psychology is already on the verge of supertransformation and vision of life as a unique evolutionary stream of consciousness towards personalization of life. The psychology of our time is in the coordinates of complexity, uncertainty and diversity. Psychologists must reflect their mission in order to meet the challenges of our time.
