Abstract
The article discusses the current state of psychology and its development prospects. The author criticizes the scientistic models of development of psychology and argues that it is necessary to abandon attempts to construct psychology as a single science, and consider it as a sphere of knowledge and practices, including a large number of diverse disciplines – scientific subjects, techniques and practices. The conditions for development of the sphere of psychology are discussed. The number of basic requirements for such a development is given.
